Well I'm back from my Antigua trip, so I thought it must be time for some more North to South, and of course I had my assigned flights to fly so I've combined the shots.

First up is N to S 27 from Guayaquil in Ecuador to Cusco in Peru and, as promised, I'm back in a transport aircraft, the freeware An-32

A good rate of climb is needed after departure since the Andes are not far ahead

Like all Russian vintage aircraft she's a heavy smoker!

short final

Cusco is at 10000 feet so it takes a little while to acclimatise!

and perhaps I'll take time out to visit Macchu Pichu?

My assigned flights were From Grenada to Barbados and return, another TDM bread and butter mail run. The thuderstorms on the return run made life interesting!

Hi Steve.

Another great report and again beautiful screen shots. Ah and btw this is thread number 600 in this forum.Biggrin

Those engines on the Antonov are looking huge. Amazing that so tiny wings can hold them. Dance

Very nice screenshots Steve!
Looks like that freeware Antonov is a very nice aircraft.

And as far as acclimatisation in Cusco is concerned.... I think I could sit down on that bench and enjoy the view and atmosphere for the rest of my life.... what a contrast with our stressed out lives we have here.
