Today we had been tasked with a Business Charter from Sint Maarten to Monterrey. Our aircraft would be the B757-200 'C6-BBJ'. The flight is scheduled to depart at 11:35Z and so we arrived early at the aircraft to watch the loading and do the outside checks:
We were almost on schedule as we prepared for push back from our parking position.
The departure went quickly as common for Sint Maarten. Accelerate climb, gear up, turn right intercept the departure.
One of the numerous cruise ships is also departing Sint Maarten bound for some other Caribbean harbor.
Saba just in front of us...
After we had reached our cruise level of FL360 we are following our route and soon we passed San Juan.
After about 55 minutes of flight we crossed Santo Domingo.
Unfortunately Kingston was covered under clouds, so it happened that we only could see Montego Bay.
Two and a half hour into the flight meanwhile cruising at FL380 we are approaching Grand Cayman.
A little more than one hour and we overflew Merida.
The remainder of the flight was uneventful and so we let down close to Reynosa. We turned directly inbound for an ILS approach to runway 29 and got established really good.
Looking good...
...until I switched to spot plane view
During taxi-in we took a good look around the airport. Well, not much traffic here at the moment.
At 17:06Z after a flying time of 5:16 and a BTB time of 5:28 we arrived at the gate and our 22 passengers could de-board.
No, there comes another aircraft - we are no longer alone.
Well, gate 216 for us. Where did they start to count? Tijuana?
Now lets see where the next flight will take us to...
