Hi Crew,

there is a new scenery for Sangster available on Avsim. It is for FS9, but probably worth a try.

Tried it, but I have problems with bleedtrough (even after switchin off my Jamaica mesh) also in standard scenery, and the framerates are pretty poor.
My favourite for Sangster Intl. remains mb04.zip available at flightsim.com, and this one gives good framerates.

Cheers,
Stefaan

Hi Stefaan.

Yes, you are probably right about the scenery. I should have waited one more day before sending this information to the forum.
In a German forum it was announced and a few guys reported some issues about this scenery, which are probably related to very outdated scenery design tools and adding files double without delivering textures and obviously not working exclude files.

It is a pity, that his scenery doesn't hold what it promised to be Mad

Sorry, so this scenery probably isn't worth the 86 MB download...

No Problemo Christian,

I was quite anxious to try it out, and indeed a pitty that it doesn't match up to the included screenshots...

Sorry to chime in late on this one, but you're right, the scenery is good, but so large that it killed my fps as well. I had to delete it to get back to the old fps. The great thing about this forum is the exchange of information and ideas, and passing on of new AC, sceneries, etc. Keep them coming!
Have a great new year, everyone!

Two patches for the scenery just released on AVSIM. Might be worth a second look.

I'm away on business, but I'll be looking at it when I get home.

Version 1.1 is online at Avsim and replaces all previous Versions.

Download size is about 41 MB. Now it seems to be worth a try - hopefully Question
