Multiplayer in the Caribbean

Hi folks,

here we go again. Stefaan and I made another flight in the Caribbean. This time we would fly from Havana via Kingston to Santo Domingo (MUHA-MKJP-MDSD).

Here we are at the gates at Havana preparing for departure.


Some time later we were ready for departure and I have already lined up on runway 06. Stefan is close behind me.


After departure I had some problems to engage the autopilot. Later I discovered the autopilot disengage bar was down thus preventing the autopilot from getting engaged at all. I don't know how the bar came down as I never touched it at all. That was the reason why it didn't come to my mind in the very first stage. I was thinking of a fault in the programming of the FMC. Never mind, I somehow discovered it some time later...

Still climbing and we are already passing Cayo Largo del Sur once more.


After about 55 minutes into the flight I am passing Montego Bay, still in very good weather. During the whole flight Stefaan was over 60 miles behind me and we both don't know how this could have happened.


Established on the ILS for runway 12 at Kingston in a thunderstorm.


I have already arrived at the gate and now I am waiting for Stefaan.


And there he is. It was a very nice touchdown from what I could see




There he is parked at the gate.


After preparing the aircraft and feeding the FMC with the relevant data and also with a nice little dessert for the captain we were ready to go for the second leg to Santo Domingo. My marshaller is waving good bye.


I am about to enter runway 12 for departure in a few moments.


Bye, bye, Jamaica.


This time Stefaan was able to stay close to me and so I had to take action to get a wider spacing and so it happened that I told him the wrong STAR Instead of OKOSO1G I told him KODIX1G. He didn't realize it although his flightplan should have told him the correct STAR

Now on final to runway 17.


Now I am taxiing to the ramp, whilst Stefaan approaches as well.


Here we are at Santo Domingo. The gate I was approaching was closed, so I had to make another turn and come back again. And now I am parked almost at the middle of the apron. I haven't parked here before, so I wasn't aware of the closed gate


Now we definitely will have at least a two week break and after this it is almost time to continue the tour through Europe again. But there still could be two more Sessions in the Caribbean in July. So if you are interested to join us, just give us a call.
