Hi guys,
Todays flight will lead us from St Sauveur AB to Albertville, or Aix-Les-Bains as alternate. Yes, for the first time we will have to fly to an alternate airfield.
But first we will leave st Sauveur AB. Dave and Stefaan again were with me.
Soon we were departing via runway 22 as the winds were in favor for this runway.
Somewhere between our departure airport and the first destination for the first touch and go at Les Eplatures (LSGC) in Switzerland.
I inserted another airport into the route and here you can see Stefaan on short final, with Dave following him in. I had already performed my touch and go and now turning to downwind to intercept the route to the next airfield Challanges (LFGF).
And here we are at Challanges:
Meythet (LFLP) airport:
One minute later Dave was passing near me:
Flying higher than normal due to the Alps below me:
We are already near our planned final destination. In fact the airfield should be in the valley below us. Can you see the airfield? Not - well that's the reason for our diversion.
On downwind to Aix-Les-Bains, and it looks more interesting than the original airfield...
Short final:
The 'gang' is shortly behind me:
It looks like we are well trained military pilots with such short separation.
Parked:
Parked at the ramp.
OK, thank you flying again. I hope you enjoyed it and also you liked watching this report.
