Hi crew.
Yes, we had a MP-Session yesterday and it was a good one as we again had a lot of fun...
This MP-Session could be easily divided into two separately reports. One for the flight from Mayaguez to Bonaire and the second one from Bonaire to Aruba. So this will be the report of the flight from Mayaguez to Bonaire which was flown with Cessna 750 'Citation X' aircrafts.
But first we met at TJMZ to get ready for the flight. Stefaan (in the background) used FS9 and the AFCAD file for the airport, so he was on the apron.
Vic was flying in FSX and he assured us that he was on the apron as well - only his nose gear might be on 'soft ground'.
We are now almost ready to depart and so did I as the first one.
After takeoff I climbed out on runway heading before I turned left to circle back over the airport to join the route. If you look real closely you can see Stefaan as he passes the numbers (27) on his initial climb. Vic has already lined up (09).
Now Vic finally got airborne as well and is climbing out.
Leaving Puerto Rico behind us and heading for Curaçao, which we only will overfly.
It was a nice enjoyable flight over the Caribbean Sea again cruising at FL450.
Curaçao ahead already in the descend for an approach to RWY 10 at Bonaire.
There is the airport of Curaçao which we all should know very well and soon we will turn towards Flamingo Airport.
Leaving Curaçao behind further descending.
Now we have Flamingo Airport visible and unfortunately I had another AFCAD2 file for the airport active which had a higher priority as the one from IWI, so the runway was misplaced as was the whole airport, except for the scenery objects. That is also the reason why I didn't take any pictures on the ground of Flamingo Airport.
But here is the approach in sequence...
After a short break on the ground and all pilots switching to different aircrafts we continued to Aruba, which will be posted in a new thread.
