Hi friends,

a busy month at work has meant a bit less flight time for meCray

But I did manage to squeeze in the next leg of this long tripDance4

From PAYA (Yakutat) to PAOH (Hoonah), and the Alaskan weather has improved as Spring gets nearer too:

On the ramp at Yakutat, and as you can see I'm using something a bit smaller for this leg:

Turning inland to follow the scenic route down Glacier Bay

Over the Melbern Glacier

which is joined by the Grand Pacific Glacier from the right

The GP Glacier meets the see at the top of Glacier Bay

and the views are stunning!

Beyond these islands is the Icy Straight

and the town of Hoonah

where the local pilots gave me a friendly welcome

Next leg will be a short hop to Sitka in the great Tongass fjords scenery - I'm looking forward to it already!

Hi Steve,

one time more a very interesting report. I really do appreciate it. And you seem have to had very good flying conditions. Clearly spring is coming to Alaska. HeartHeart

Steve, you may also want to change your paint of the C337H. I presume you use the payware from Carenado. We have some beautiful skins in the Hanger for itClapping Link scroll downMusic

Very nice report again on your progress Steve !
Got the same problem myself on my Aussie tour, too little time for flying lately, but that will change :-)

I also have the C337 and I love it a lot, great aircraft !
Besides, looks like you had a lovely co-pilot on your route Sdrool
