Hi guys.
Todays flight will lead us from Shelter Cove to Mammoth Yosemite (KMMH).
Have a look at the map.
OK, here we are all parked at Shelter Cove. Next to me is Stefaan in his PC-12 followed by Dave in his DHC-6 Twin Otter and last but not least Vic, displayed in a Quest Kodiak.
And off we go, heading for Fort Bragg (8Q3). Vic is finally about to takeoff
Well, Fort Bragg, what should I say about this nice little airfield? It has a rather narrow runway. Holy s..t was it narrow. It easily could fit between my landing gear...
On the other hand Little River (O48) has a much bigger runway. I somehow expected it the other way around.
The gang is arriving at Little River as well.
Enroute to Gunnersfield Ranch. I hope they don't shoot at us - with that name in mind... If so I will shoot back.
Did I mention the really nice weather during the whole flight already? Well, we had really nice weather for flying today.
And there it is: Gunners Ranch. Looks quiet.
The group is behind me.
Passing Stefaan.
Next was Oroville, although it was not part of the flightplan today, but we didn't care.
Then we set course for Reno/Tahoe (KRNO).
There it is:
The gang is still with me...
Touch and go performed:
Stefaan is performing his touch and go right now.
Vic is about to leave us here. He told us something about having an appointment - it surely was a poker game.
Unfortunately his aircraft is covered by my aircraft.
So, only three of us were left for the remainder of the flight.
Next I am closing in to Bryant (O57).
And there it is. I circled the area a little bit to wait for Stefaan and Dave.
And performed my touch and go.
Dave is coming.
On the other side of the lake there is Lee Vining (O24) where we will fly to soon...
OK, everybody is still there.
To be continued...
