Last night I was asked by Jack to closely investigate the new paintjob on the PMDG 777-200LR in the TAA livery..... and so we did...

Lookin' darn good doesn't she ? Dance3Clapping

There's even more good news because shortly after that I also got the TCA and TL liveries for testing... and I can tell you, they all look so great !!

So today I was honored to fly the first revenue flight with the Tradewind Alaska B777-200LR N777TA "Virgil F. Partch" and take her from Denver (DEN) to Honolulu (HNL).. .what could we ask more.. a great aircraft and flying her to a great location...

All passengers and cargo is loaded and we're ready for pushback

Taxiing to RW34L

And soon holding short of the runway awaiting incoming traffic to land

Lining up on the runway, and cleared to take off using the COORZ2 departure with our first cruise level set at FL360

At 19:59Z, near TATOO intersection and arriving near the west coast, step climbed to FL380

Nearly 12 km high, over the Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco

22.55Z, over the Pacific Ocean, and just past our Equal Time Point for our ETOPS pair of airports being KLLR/PHOG.
If we get in trouble, from here on we head for PHOG and as you can see on the ND it's about 939nm up ahead

We had a safe and further uneventfull flight and arrive over Honolulu on the REEEF4 arrival

Turning to intercept the localizer for the RW08L ILS

All set up for landing

A light rain is welcoming us.... leaving the runway and taxiing to the gate

Arrived at the gate, the passengers were pretty exciting having experienced this first TAA T7 flight Thumbup

So far a great flight with a very promissing and magnificent new aircraft by PMDG

Wow Stefaan,

This really is a very nice looking aircraft and I can't hardly wait for it to arrive in my virtual hangar. But first I will finish the Cargo Dispatch with the MD-11F and the F1 race in Italy, before I will get her Yahoo

Beautiful aircraft, Stefaan. Pretty hard to be PMDG, they seem to most always get it right! Thanks for sharing.Big_boss
