Well out of the common MP-Sessions Stefaan and I had another MP-Session yesterday. I flew from Montego Bay to Varadero and wait for Stefaan to join me. On the first flight I was already flying on-line hence the missing AI-aircrafts.
OK, we are ready for push back:
Ready to line up onto runway 07 for departure.
Turning left for ADSEL1 departure:
Climbing into the clouds:
Into the cruise we are passing Cayo Largo del Sur (MUCL).
It was hazy during the approach to Varadero:
Taxi in to the gate:
Now getting ready for the second flight to Grand Cayman, Owen Roberts Intl. airport.
Stefaan had joined me by now. Unfortunately he forgot to activate his add-on scenery for Varadero, but at least he was parked at the ramp
Taxiing to runway 06, flaps set to 5, D-TO1 49°, and the following v-speeds: v1 132, vr 138 and v2 141 knots.
Climb out on UCL1 departure:
After a nice short 44 minutes flight we arrived to Grand Cayman using the IAN (Integrated approach Navigation) during which the FMC calculates a simulated glide path to the runway. Mainly this is a VOR/DME approach, but with an artificial glide path...
The marshaller at work:
Stefaan is touching down, but will miss the exit and has to taxi down the runway to turn around on the turning pad...
Stefaan joined me on my right wing then.
My passengers have arrived with buses:
Boarding completed, the buses are leaving and soon we are ready to push back for the final flight.
After departure I overflew the airport one more time:
Stefaan is obviously flying a different departure.
Cruising at FL380 I will show you one more thing of the new iFly Feature Pack. The ND display says it all:
Then as Merida came into view for some reason my computer became unresponsive, which happens from time to time, but for the first time I got a blue screen and my computer re-booted. After setting everything up again I was overhead the airport for an ILS approach to runway 10. Stefaan used the time and landed in the meantime and taxied to the gate.
But after all I reached the gate and I talked Stefaan into position for a nice screenshot:
OK, this was a very nice change for the MP-Sessions we had recently. And it was much more relaxing to say the least.
Have a great week.
