Hi Folks here we go again with another nice MP-Session.
This time Dave was joining us again and later during the flight Pär joined us on Teamspeak and we had a little chat with him. He is feeling better, but very tired in the evening as I understand correctly. Hope he will get better and stronger real soon.
But here we are at Nice taxiing for departure.
Everybody lined up on runway 22R and ready for departure. Funny thing was that I lined up to the left side of the runway and without a single word Stefaan joined me on the right side and Dave mentioned something like: 'Oh, a formation takeoff.' Not really, but almost.
Our first touch and go at La Mole airfield (LFTZ).
The guys are flying behind me and I still have all my tanks attached including the two AIM-120. More later...
Touch and go at Le Castellet (LFMQ).
OK, now here it is: I accidentally dropped all of my under-wing and centerline stores, but my intention was to just drop the under-wing fuel tanks, which were empty at this time. But I also somehow dropped the centerline tank as well, which was still containing 3100 lbs of fuel. Too bad!!!
Well, refueling probe extended and ready to take on some fuel...
To save some fuel I flew at about 11000 feet on a longer leg...
Preparing for a touch and go at Marseille.
Quick climb:
Short final for Salon AB (LFMY).
And after the touch and go at Le Tube AB I was circling the airbase at some high g's.
The guys are still following me.
After touch and go from Montpellier (LFMT).
The F-18E doesn't go any faster than that at about 2000 feet and in full burners!
After landing at Perpignan Riversaltes airport (LFMP) our final destination.
The guys are also taxiing in.
And here we are:
OK, thank you for flying again. I hope you enjoyed the flight and watching the pictures. See you again next Saturday.
