FSX is giving me some headaches! I've recently uninstalled some aircraft I don't use and somewhere down the line my original fsx effects folder has got corrupted - the result is that startup smoke, touchdown and taxi effects have all turned into horrible black squares - could anyone send me a copy of the original fsx effects folder, or point me to a download, otherwidse I think I'm looking at a reinstallation!

Thanks Jack, seems to have done the trick (fingers crossed) - I have a couple of flights to do this pm so I'll check it all out and confirm later :)
