F1 Charter TCC2110B LHBP-KLAX - CBreuer - 08-02-2015 It is a long time ago since I did my last flight report via the forum and so I thought it might be the time to do another one. I picked the same flight as Stefaan the other day, but my flight had the 'B' in the flight number since it was the second flight departing from Budapest to Los Angeles that day. We almost used the same flightplan as TCC2110C uses, but only with different scheduled times. Our flight is scheduled to leave the gate at 07:00Z on July 27. But first here are some shots from outside the aircraft prior to leaving the gate: Now the ground crew is moving away from the aircraft. In a very short moment we will start push-back and perform the engine start-ups. At 07:01Z it finally was time to release the brakes and being pushed-back. We are ready to taxi to runway 13L and giving the ground crew the thumbs-up: Taxiing to runway 13L now: Not much traffic at this time here right now, so we can directly line-up onto the runway: And here we go, accelerating down the runway: And up we go: Climbing out and following the LITKU1D departure: Finally engaged the autopilot to enjoy the scenery Turning over the outer marker: The airport 'over the top': Now we are passing 10000 feet and start to accelerate to 320 knots. It was also the time to shut the APU down, hence the EICAS message: APU COOLDOWN A little 'aerial shot'. Closing in to LITKU now and the chart say we should cross the intersection above FL140 but below FL180, so the Triple Seven levelled off at FL180. And continue climbing to FL320 now: Shortly after levelling off: A little jump in time and we are crossing into Norway airspace now. Closing in to 7010N (70N010W): And showing the GRID heading display once passing 70°N: Flying over Greenland. We will pass a little bit to the South of Thule AB: No nice weather at Thule in recent times: And after some more time of flying through the skies we are somewhere over Canada already. Already east of Vancouver: Passing Seattle a few minutes later: 18.5 NM from Shafter Bakersfield (EHF) we are descending towards LAX via KIMMO3 arrival preparing for an approach to runway 24R. Edwards AFB in far distance (top center): Downtown LA: Crossing Glendale and Ventura Freeway intersections: LAX already visible in the distance: Turning towards final near Vernon or Commerce: Finals runway 24R, looking good: Moments away from touchdown: Taxi to the gate a TBIT: Turning into the gate: Obviously the parking system is malfunctioning and so they sent a marshaller to guide us into the gate: De-boarding will start in a few moments: And we are done: After a flying time of 11:38 all of our 365 passengers arrived at LAX in good mood as they enjoyed a very nice F1 Race weekend in Budapest. We made it from gate to gate in 11:57 and all in all we arrived within the scheduled times easily. We lost 9 minutes over the calculated flying time, but only 1 minute over the calculated BTB time. I think this is a good result. Aircraft used: PMDG B777-300ER 'PJ-TGH'. Scenery Budapest: Mega Airport Budapest (Aerosoft) Scenery LAX: FSDT LAX Of course this all was in FSX with FTX Global and using Active Sky next for the weather along with REX for clouds and water textures along with UTX Europe and USA. The flightplan can be downloaded here: TCC2110B-15 and also the NOTAM's I hope you enjoyed this report with a little picture overflow |
