NZ helitour Day3 and a couple of extras - Gatwicksteve - 02-06-2013 Day 3 of our location scout tour took me from Hokitika to Mount Cook, where the hard working PJ-DAZ was leaving us on an offfshore contract - not to worry, the company had ensured our latest arrival PJ-DAX was awaiting us at NZMC! We routed to Wanaka for a fuel stop, then on to Milford Sound where we landed close to a beach for an overnight campsite.... Mount Cook ahead and even the 412EP struggles in the hover at this altitude! Allow me to present.... Over the ridge into Milford Sound - the ORBX scenery is superb and this must be one of the most scenic areas in the world! To finish off, a couple I took during last months assigned flights....
