North to South 28 and 29 - Gatwicksteve - 11-17-2012 2 legs combined here, 28 from Cuzco to Antofagasta (SCFA) first in the Chilean Air Force Hawker Hunter... The flight took me over the Atacama desert to the coast Amtofagasta is on the peninsula ahead Time to relax on the beach for a few hours!! Next day I continued with leg 29 to Santiago Los Cerrilos (SCTI) in an aircraft I'd forgotten I had! I found thids on a backup drive - the Skysim Mirage, in this case a Pantera CN.. After an hour, Los Cerillos came into sight This is a tricky beast to land, with an approach speed of 185 knots and touchdown at 170!! after parking i went to visit the museum at the airfield and guess what I found?
