North to South 22 - Gatwicksteve - 08-20-2012 Continuing my trip through Mexico I tried to find an appropriate aircraft - this freeware (ex pay) PC9 of the FAM fitted the bill! So it's off to MMIT (Ixtapec on the southern coast) ![]() ![]() Time to play with a few aerobatics enroute ![]() ![]() And back to the navigation! ![]() The seafog was rolling in at Ixtapec ![]() How it looks on a clear day ![]() and how I found it ![]() ![]() Parked up ![]() Unlike many of my stops, Ixtapec is not a tourist destination - it's best known for the wave of immigrants from Central and South America who use some dangerous methods to get here ![]() Next leg takes me to San Salvador, in the A10 again - I flew the leg this morning and will get the pictures up soon. Steve ![]() PS, thanks for the headsup on the F15E Christian - I'll have a look when I can, though I've just got the Just Flight EE Lightning as well so funds are stretched!! RE: North to South 22 - CBreuer - 08-20-2012 Hi Steve. Another very interesting report with another very nice aircraft. A PC-9 would have been the perfect aircraft for some MP flights in Europe in the past, but the FW-190D9 and F-18E weren't bad either. ![]() ![]() (08-20-2012, 12:07 PM)Gatwicksteve Wrote: and how I found it What did you find? A rectangle without trees in no man's land? ![]() ![]() Waiting for the next report and yes, that F-15E might be worth the money. Especially if it is reduced as low as it is now! |
