FTX Australia journey 02 - YPJT YBAS - TCA2050 - 01-22-2012
The second leg of this journey comes in at about 1075 nm, so I decided to go for the Pilatus PC12 which gives a good cruise altitude and speed.
Overview of the trip:
Getting ready to leave Jandakot
... via runway 24R
and in no time we were airborne
Cruising at FL230, over Lake Goongarrie
Ayers Rock
... Finke Gorge National Park
And after about 4 hours of flying we arrived at Alice Springs, the airport ahead..
We will land on RW17, bottom left of the screen.
Turning downwind for runway 17...
....turning base...
....and on final...
Upon arriving, I keep to the right to get to the small general aviation area
Total block to block time: 4 hour 21 minutes
Flown using:
Microsoft Flight simulator X
Flight1 Pilatus PC12
Active Sky 2012 for weather
Scenery: FTX/Orbx AU + YPJT / YBAS
