Here's a note to the office that might interest you:
For: Virtual Pilots and Virtual Airlines operating in VATSIM
It is a great pleasure, along with the Nassau FIR, Kingston FIR, San Juan CERAP, and the Piarco FIR introduce the event Caribbean Flavour!
On the 28th of July, 2011 from 2200z to 0300z, The various airspaces of VATCAR Division will light up with at least one centre, one approach and one tower.
The hope of this event is to have individuals from all over the world enjoy a night of flight throughout the Caribbean! We also want to help pilots to realise that the Caribbean has many unique features that range from a fun and relaxing approach, to a challenging and tense approach! Be sure to read and plan out your flight route with the assistance of charts and field information. All this information can be found on the individual FIR's webpages. All the FIR pages can be found through the VATCAR website. Please visit: vatcar.org to gain access to all charts and data you will need for a successful trip!
